With two flagship academies in Southern Maryland and an official affiliate serving the Delaware beaches, Team LINEAGE® has become Southern Maryland’s largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team.

Calvert MMA Academy® is one of the original homes of Team LINEAGE® and has been serving Southern Maryland since 2007.
This location offers Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ, self-defense, wrestling, judo, striking, and competition training for kids, teens, and adults—all under one roof.

Bowman Systems MMA (Official Team LINEAGE® Affiliate)
Serving the Delaware Beaches Region
Located near Bethany Beach, Delaware, Bowman Systems MMA is an official Team LINEAGE® affiliate academy.
Led by one of Professor Jim Thrift’s black belts, this academy extends authentic Gracie Jiu-Jitsu into Delaware’s coastal communities.
Students train and compete under the Team LINEAGE® banner, maintaining the same technical standards, values, and culture as our Maryland locations.
